1. While all the rules for the safeguard of the physical and cultural integrity of the documents deposited care of the G.P. Vieusseux scientific and literary library apply, orders for reproductions and permission to publish the reproductions are granted by the authors. The right to obtain reproductions of the documents is subject to a concession, granted by the Institution after evaluating the request and obtaining the approval of the owner of the documents.

2. The concession is personal and non-transferable.

3. The photographic reproduction is made exclusively by the G.P. Vieusseux library.

4. In case of reproductions for personal use or reasons of study, the applicant agrees not to divulge, distribute or sell the copies obtained to the public.

5. Photographic reproductions of documents are subject to advance payment of the fees listed herein, made according to the instructions of the Institute (1).

6. No use other than the declared use may be considered legitimate with written authorization of the Institute.

7. Every reprint divulged shall bear the exact indication of the source of the document and mention "by concession of the Gabinetto Scientifico Letterario G.P. Vieusseux", and the express warning of the prohibition to reproduce or duplicate it with any means.

8. The photographic reproductions owned by the Institute cannot be rented.

9. Use of reproductions shall be made in respect of the rights of the authors and third parties.

10. Requests referring to uses not expressly contemplated by these general conditions and rates shall be subject to special examination and specific agreements case by case.

11. The G.P. Vieusseux library may stipulate specific agreements in relation to special initiatives or requirements.

12. The rates indicated in this price list are exempt from invoicing and payment of V.A.T. on the basis of law d.p.r. 633 of 26.10.72, art. 4 clause 3, art. 10 clause 16.

13. Fees and copyrights of authors or third parties, if payable, shall be paid separately.

14. Shipment or delivery of the reproductions will be made about 10 days after receive of this request with enclosed copy of the receipt for the payment. The time will depend on the number of copies requested and any difficulties this may entail. Urgent requests, with timing to be agreed upon case by case, will require a surcharge of 100%.
