The most “ancient”, in chronological order, among the publications is the “Documenti” series, devoted to studies on sources. The first volume published by the Institute is  the volume “Documenti per la storia economica dei secoli XIII-XVI” by Federigo Melis (1972), still today the most sought-after among our books.
