SCHOOL OF ADVANCED SPECIALISATION IN ECONOMIC HISTORY

The School of Advanced Specialisation is possible thanks to the contribution of the Province of Prato:

The Datini Foundation promotes a School of Advanced Specialisation, with the objective of providing its young scholars with methodological and critical tools to draft and create a small essay (50/70,000 keystrokes) on a case study relating to one of the topics covered in Studies Week. The essays that pass examination by a referee will be published in a specific electronic series edited by the Datini Foundation, called "Quaderni di ricerca" ("Research Logs").

Location: Prato, Fondazione Datini, via Muzzi 38.

Tenure: In English and/or Italian (overall 24 academic hours of front lecturing and 24 hours of workshops).

Users: Graduates or Doctors of Research (maximum 16 participants).

Phase II: Participation in Studies Week activities

Phase III: Delivery of essays
The deadline by which course participants must send their essay, compiled in final format and in compliance with the editorial standards of the Foundation.

Phase IV: Evaluation and possible publication of essays
Essays sent will be examined by an anonymous referee. If a positive outcome is achieved, the essays will be published in the specifically composed "Quaderni di ricerca" (Research Logs) digital series and will be issued simultaneously with the volume of XLIII Studies Week Deeds.

Les participants au cours seront logés en résidence universitaire (chambre individuelle avec salle de bains à l'étage). Les repas, organisés par la Fondation, seront servis en commun.
