In occasion of XXVIII Study Week: "Alimentazione e nutrizione. Secc. XIII- XVIII". The aim of exhibition was observing the diffusion in Europe of cookery and table culture, the reciprocal influence of different local and national traditions; the prevalent element was the subject exquisitely gastronomical, but the different parts, which was articulated in, followed also further investigating lines, with particular reference to dietettics, etiquette and study of marketable goods.
The exhibition was essentially an exhibition of original documents, enclosed in a wide context with iconographies and captains, and, inside that, all the informative patrimony, get out of examined works. Therefore, it proposed numerous interpretation possibilities: from that of bibliophile and researcher, to that of not expert public. that had to enable to be accompanied in a deep reading. For the principal treaties, beside first edition in codex, was exhibited aldo printed volumes showing their spreading. The exhibition was supported by a volume.
