CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR ADMISSION TO THE SCHOOL OF ADVANCED SPECIALISATION IN ECONOMIC HISTORY AND AWARDING OF SCHOLARSHIPS

For participation purposes to the School of Advanced Specialisation, the "F. Datini" Foundation International Institute of Economic History and the university institutions that collaborate in operating the school make scholarships available to young Italian and foreign scholars residing outside the Provinces of Prato, Florence, Lucca and Pistoia. The scholarship consists of hospitality in Prato (food and lodging) starting from the night of Sunday April 11th and ending the night (included) of Thursday April 22nd and reimbursement of travel expenses (second class train/airline, preferably low cost or, if not possible, tourist tariff within the limitations indicated in the table attached). Researchers from the Provinces of Prato, Florence, Lucca and Pistoia will only be entitled to meals.
Applications to participate and win the scholarship should reach the Foundation (Via L. Muzzi 38, 59100 PRATO) by the 20th February 2010.

The application should be accompanied by the following documents
form to request participation, compiled in all parts;
one or more letters of scientific presentation;
copy of any works published or being published; these copies will not be returned and will be inserted in the Foundation library.

Authorisation to participate in the course and the possible awarding of the scholarship will be communicated to those interested via e-mail as soon as the specific commission reaches a decision, no later than the 15th March 2010.
Those admitted must attend the School for its entire duration, i.e. from the 11th to the 22nd of April 2010 and comply with the terms of sending the essay. Essays arriving after the indicated date will not be considered for publication.
